Save Cambodia Wildlife

The Challenge: Bridging the Gap Between Impact and Visibility

Save Cambodia’s Wildlife (SCW) does vital work in forest protection and community development. However, their internal team struggled to document these achievements effectively. Their field photos often lacked the professional quality needed for donor reports, and their social media presence wasn't fully capturing the "human element" of their success stories. They needed to move from simply "taking pictures" to "crafting narratives.

The Solution: A 3-Day Immersive Workshop

The training was designed to be 20% theory and 80% practice, ensuring the team could immediately apply their new skills to SCW's specific mission.

Documenting Success Stories

The second day shifted from "pretty pictures" to "purposeful storytelling." We practiced how to photograph community members and wildlife in a way that feels authentic and dignified.

  • The "Success Story" Framework: Identifying the hero, the conflict (the environmental issue), and the resolution (SCW’s intervention).

  • Portraiture: Techniques for capturing emotion and connection in the field.
